Simple Elements of Living by Faith . . . Hebrews 11:1-2,6

1. Walk in the Light of the Word . . . Romans 3:3-4
   1. Motto: The Bible says it . . . I believe it . . . That settles it.
   2. 2 Things:
      1. Accept God's Word for . . . what it SAYS.
      2. Walk in the light of. . . . what The Word says.
   3. Confession:  God's Word is alive.  It is alive in me.  God speaks to me through His Word.  He gives me revelation through His Word.  I accept His Word as though the Lord Jesus Christ Himself were here in person speaking to me.  And I act upon it accordingly.
2. Faith is Alive - It is a Living Faith . . . Hebrews 4:12
   1. Moffatt's translation of Hebrews 4:12 reads. "For the Logos [Word] of God is a living thing. . ."
   2. The WRITTEN WORD is just as though the Lord Jesus Christ were here in person SPEAKING to me.
   3. Quick! Alive! Living!  But it will come alive to you only as you accept it and act upon it.
   4. Confession:  God's Word is alive.  It is alive in me.  God speaks to me through His Word.  He gives me revelation through His Word.  I accept His Word as though the Lord Jesus Christ Himself were here in person speaking to me.  And I act upon it accordingly.
3. Faith Comes by Hearing The Word. . . Romans 10:17
   1. Wha are you listening to?
   2. Asking for Faith . . . Does not produce Faith.
   3. Faith Does not come by Asking . . . Faith comes by Hearing!
   4. Confession:  As I study the Word of God, I am becoming one with it.  I am feeding upon it; I am hearing it; and faith is coming to me.
