The Fruit of the Spirit . . . Colossians 1:10

      1. Group 1: Love - Joy - Peace: To God
      2. Group 2: Longsuffering - Kindness - Goodness: to Others
      3. Group 3: Faithfulness - Gentleness - Self Control: To Me

    2. Group 1: To God - Love, Joy, Peace
      1. Love:  Agape love . . . the God kind of love . . . SACRIFICIAL
      2. Joy:  Happiness is an emotion we have based on the circumstances we are in.  Joy is by the spirit and it impacts our emotions.
      3. Peace:  I can be at rest . . . quiet . . . secure in my God and His ability to see me through any situation.
    3. Group 2: To Others - Longsuffering, Kindness, Goodness
      1. Longsuffering:  Patience . . . especially in situations where I am attacked by others, offenses will come, patience helps me to not murmur or complain, my heart is protected where I have no resentment.
      2. Kindness:  Softspoken, in control of my negative emotions because I am being like Jesus and not allowing resentment to get in my heart.
      3. Goodness:  Virtuous, giving, like Jesus . . .
    4. Group 3: To Us - Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self Control
      1. Faithfulness:  Committed to the call, the covenant, the task assigned to me.
      2. Gentleness:  Even balanced in my temperament . . . patient toward others . . .
      3. Self Control:  Resisting my needs, appetites, and passions . . .
